Life group leaders,
You guys are doing amazing job! Thank you so much for your faithfulness at leading and guiding the students at Generation. You are a part of helping us shepherd our flock well. The pastors could not do it without you, so again, thank you.
In way of reminder, please make sure that you are calling students to invite them to life group and actively looking for students that are not plugged in before and after services.

LIFE-GROUP LEADER INSTRUCTIONS
1. Take time to read the passages of study and pray through them. Work through them in your own life and consider yourself first in all of the questions below.
2. Think through ways that you can help the group understand that sin is a condition of the heart, and not merely an action.
3. Think of practical ways to show our students the damaging effects that anger & lust have on their soul.
Passages of Study
- Matthew 5:21-30
Questions
1. Why do you think Jesus said that anger in our heart is the same as murdering someone?
2. List a few ways that anger manifest itself in our lives… (Jealousy, Envy, Gossip, Rage, Etc) 3. Why would Jesus command that we repair our broken relationships before we offer our worship to him?
4. Why do you think Jesus said that lust is the same as committing adultery?
5. In what ways do you feel that lust damages your understanding of sex?
Application
1. In what immediately practical ways can we live these commands out in our schools, families, jobs, etc?
2. How can we avoid being tripped up by the enemy while trying to live these things out?
3. How can we avoid being our own worst enemy while trying to live these things out?
4. Have you sought to reconcile all of the anger in your heart toward the people in your world?
